Not sure how to achieve your goals? Introducing “Ready To“. Ready To is all about getting ready to take on whatever life throws at you. Over the next few months, all of our content is going to provide you with information on how to be ready to take on your goals.
To better understand what “Ready To” means, let’s take a look at our mission here at BAD Athletics:
BAD = Bold, Determined and Ready To Fight
That’s what we’re ready to do. We are here, ready to fight for you to achieve your goals. The purpose of “Ready To” is all about the process that it takes to achieve your goals. All of our products are here to assist you with whatever your health and fitness goals may be.
What “Ready To” means
“Ready To” means putting in the work to be ready for whatever it is you want to accomplish. If you want to run a marathon, learn how to cook, or improve your mental health, you’re going to have to work at it. We’re here to help you succeed.
Being “Ready To” means being willing to go through the process. The process is hard and requires a lot of hard work and discipline. There are a few steps that we recommend following in order to be ready. Following each of these steps and putting in the work will ensure you are ready to take on anything.
How You Can Get “Ready To”
At BAD Athletics we believe that to be ready for anything in life, you need to set a goal, get a coach and join a team. Doing these things allows you to be ready for whatever you want to achieve and ultimately live everyday like an athlete.
Let’s dive deeper into what each of these steps means and how you can achieve them.
1- Set a goal
The first step of “Ready To” is to set a goal. Setting a goal should be a very personal process. Dive deep into what you want in life and what you’re passionate about. Once you have a goal in mind, it’s time to make it a SMART goal. SMART stands for Specific, Measurable, Relevant, and Time-bound. Make sure your goal applies to each of these categories.
Once you have made your goals SMART, it’s time to decide how you are going to remind yourself of these goals daily. Some ways you can remind yourself of your goals is a vision board, daily affirmations, or journaling. To dive deeper into goal setting, check out this blog.
2- Get a Coach
Once you have a clear goal that you are passionate about, it’s time to get a coach. Coaches help us stay accountable, push us to be better, educate us and support us. Here at BAD Athletics we have three coaches; Kaytlin, Whitney and Haley. Kaytlin is our fitness coach, Whitney is our personal development coach, and Haley is our nutrition coach.
For those who have participated in sports, you know how important a team is. Having people going through the same experiences as you brings you together and allows you to hold each other accountable. You’re always pushing each other to be better and are there to pick each other up.
A team is vital for being ready to take on your goals. Because of this, we have a private Facebook community for you to join! An automatic team of women participating in the same BAD Athletics programs and challenges! To learn more about why you need a team, click here.
4- Living everyday like an athlete
The last step of our “Ready To” is to live everyday like an athlete. If you can be ready to live everyday like an athlete, you’ll be able to handle anything life throws at you. Having the mentality that you’re an athlete will allow you to live a more focused, determined and capable life.
We are here for you! We want you to achieve your goals and believe that you are an athlete! Our whole mission is about fighting for women and providing the resources necessary for female athletes (you) to succeed.
